It was a real honor to participate in this project. The Tang Museum at Skidmore hosted a conference of all of the contributors to contemplate a special collection of Tibetan art and to write articles that linked the exhibition to teaching practices. I was the only one who wrote about elementary education and was able to easily connect it to what I thought was going to be my life’s work. By the time the book came out, things had changed. So it was a bit heartbreaking to hold it in my hands. It’s such a beautiful publication. Lori Anderson performed at the book launch in John Giorno’s old Bowery apartment that used to be a YMCA. I was in very good company. You can purchase one from DelMonico Books.
